Billy Adamson is a session musician from London, England. He received a scholarship to study Jazz Harmony and Theory at Middlesex School of Music in London, from where he graduated from with the highest mark for performance in his year.

Out of University he joined the band for newly signed Universal Music Group Artist, Sara Schiralli. They went on to  play on numerous French national radio shows and the top live TV show in France, Taratata, alongside Maroon 5 and Hollywood actress Marion Cotillard.

Following this he was the guitarist for Jess Glynne, the biggest selling UK female artist of 2014 and 2015 Grammy Award winner.

In 2015 he relocated to LA after signing a production deal with original band, Wild Wild Horses.

The band disbanded in 2018 after a nationwide tour of the states.  

After relocating back to England he was asked to be the guitarist for Sony Music’s ‘Ward Thomas’, with whom he recently supported Paul Simon at his Hyde Park concert in London.

Other live session credits include Ella Henderson, Foxes, Cassadee Pope, Brandy Clarke, TAYC, Izzy Bizu, All Saints and Ady Sullaiman.

His guitar recording credits also include Elton John’s Grammy nominated and Golden Globe winning song “I’m Gonna Love You Again’, MOBO nominated, Atlantic recording artist ‘Kwabs’, and for the Grammy nominated album ‘Cheers To The Fall’ by US artist Andra Day.
